Corrections Policy
How to report an error to FORBES.NG, how correction requests are reviewed, and how confirmed corrections are shown.
Last updated 20 October 2026
FORBES.NG aims to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we want to fix it promptly and transparently.
How to report an error
Use the Share a News Tip form. Begin the subject line with "Correction:" and include the article headline or link, the specific statement you believe is wrong, and any evidence that supports the correct information.
How requests are reviewed
An editor reviews each request and, where needed, checks with the reporter and the original sources. We may contact you for more information. We correct factual errors; we do not change accurate reporting because a subject dislikes it, and disagreements with opinion pieces are not treated as errors.
How corrections are shown
- Significant factual errors are corrected in the article, with a note explaining what was changed.
- Minor errors such as spelling or formatting that do not change meaning may be fixed without a note.
- Where a story is updated with new information rather than corrected, we may note the update.
- We remove or withdraw content only in exceptional circumstances, for example legal reasons or a serious failure of our standards, and we explain this where possible.
Responses
We aim to acknowledge correction requests, but we cannot promise a response time or a particular outcome.
